"The ramifications of outsourcing are staggering not only for individuals
whose positions are terminated, but for the larger society. Unemployment and
underemployment (working below one's level of skill and training) will
contribute to a shrinking tax base, as already financially burdened city, county
and state governments cut back personnel and services. In a nation where 15
percent of the population has no medical coverage, that figure can only increase
as most people secure health insurance through their employment."

So? If companies can be more profittable outsourcing jobs so be it, the business practice of outousrceing is not at all unethical, a business's purpose is to make money and if there is a more effective practice of hiring emplyees to increase profits (e.g. outsourcing) it's not out of place for a business to move in this direction. With no incentive for business owners to give jobs to American citizens, why should they? Just because it's "right"? Just because it'll give come Americans health insurance? In your socialisitic utopia I guess business' would just give away free jobs and money because that would be "cool" of them right?
